Xi Liang lays in the north west of China and is quite small. Though small in itself it does provide good supprot the neighbouring cities Tian Shui and Chang An. Around Xi Liang are many Qiang tribes and to keep them as a friend is vital to the survival in this region. The men of Xi Liang are a wide mixture of rich and poor - meaning many have the gold to buy and equip horses which the area has in plenty. The terrain around Xi Liang is vast with plenty of open land - however this is rugged and not suitable to live off for long periods - the dusty plains make it a nomadic style outside the city walls.
